A gift that could only have been for them

Fondkeep started with a simple frustration: most gifts are interchangeable. A candle is a candle. A mug is a mug. The person opening it knows you bought something, not that you thought about them.

So we build the other kind. Everything we sell is blank until you tell us who it is for. A hand-cranked flipbook that plays your photo like a tiny film. A plush with a picture hidden inside its ear. A frame that lights up around a date only two people care about.

Made to order, one at a time

Nothing on this site sits in a warehouse waiting. When your order comes in, your names, your dates and your photographs are printed, engraved or stitched by hand, and then the piece is checked before it is boxed. That takes a few business days depending on the piece, and it is the reason we can promise the result will actually look like the preview — the exact estimated delivery date range for your item is shown on its product page.

Personalization is free, and always will be

Plenty of shops treat customization as an upsell, adding a few dollars per line of text. We think that is backwards. Personalization is the entire point of what we make, so it is included in the price on every product.

Our 45-day promise

If your gift arrives and it is not right, tell us within 45 days and we will remake it or refund you in full. In most cases you keep the original — sending back something engraved with someone's name helps nobody.
